There are times when you couldn’t care less about Microsoft Edge saving browsing history. But, for those times when you want to keep your browsing history to yourself, you can always use Private Mode.
If you don’t use Private Mode very often, opening a private tab isn’t as annoying, but it can be if you use it frequently. Instead of manually having to open a private tab, there are some adjustments you can make to one that is opened automatically.
Always Have Microsoft Edge Open in InPrivate Browsing
Whether the Microsoft Edge icon is on the taskbar or on the menu, you’ll need to right-click on it. If you right-click directly on the icon, the Edge option will appear, and it’s on that option you need to right-click on.
When the Properties window shows up, look for the Target string, and at the end of the text, it already includes add -inprivate with a space after the word Default.
If what you want to do is just open one tab in InPrivate mode, click on the dots at the top-right and choose the New InPrivate window option.
