One of the most widely used features on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is cut, copy and paste. If you’re not familiar with how it’s done on this device, use this tutorial to learn. It’s a bit difficult at first, but it’s a breeze once you get used to it.
To cut, copy and paste all text in a field…
- Tap and hold the text you wish to copy or cut for about 2 seconds.
- Choose “Cut” or “Copy” as desired. Choose “Select All” to highlight all the text in the current field.
- Navigate to where you would like to paste the text.
- Tap where you’d like the text to appear, then tap and hold the text field for about 2 seconds.
- Tap “Paste“.

- Tap and hold the text field for about 2 seconds.
- Drag the blue tabs across the text you’d like to cut or copy.
- Tap and hold the selected text until a menu appears.
- Choose “Cut” or “Copy” as desired.
- Navigate to where you would like to paste the text.
- Tap where you’d like the text to appear, then tap and hold the text field for about 2 seconds.
- Tap “Paste“.
This is not working on the Tab S3 when trying to copy and paste into Word from another application
